How to Enter

Submit your photos with Flickr®

Not familiar with Flickr?
Flickr is an online photo sharing web site that is made up of many groups, including an Organic Mechanics group. You can add your photos to the Organic Mechanics photo-sharing group and quickly enter many images for others to see.

Submit your photos using Flickr
Just follow these easy steps:

1. Login in
Use your Yahoo® ID to log in to www.flickr.com. If you do not have an
account, you can sign up for free.

2. Join the Organic Mechanics Flickr group
Click “Join this Group” on the group’s homepage.

3. Upload an image
After logging in, upload your images using the form provided.

4. Send the image to our Group
Browse to the image you wish to submit for the contest, and use the
“Send to Group” function above the image to add your photograph
to the Organic Mechanics’ photo pool.

5. Pick a category
Compare your image to the list of contest categories and decide which
one is the best fit for this specific image.

6. Tag it
Once added to the group, tag each photo with OMPhotoContest –2010
[category code here] through the “tag” feature in the right-hand column
of the individual photo’s page.

That’s it! You’re entered. There is no limit to the number of photos that you can submit to the contest. Repeat the steps above for each submission. Please do not submit duplicate entries or enter the same photo in multiple categories.

Your legal rights
You will retain all rights to any photograph you submit other than those rights licensed in the following sentence: By submitting your photo using OMPhotoContest-2010, you hereby grant to the Organic Mechanics Soil Company (i) a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute and publicly display the photographs you submit to the Organic Mechanics Soil Company, and (ii) the right to use your name, city and state in promotions and other publications.
